In collaboration with Hong Kong Student Aid Society, the Chamber is organizing a dim sum workshop which allows members, together with their children (aged 4 or above), to bring splashes of joy to some less fortunate children staying in Small Group Homes.

Each child from Small Group Homes will be assigned with one parent-child team to make their own cute animal-shaped dim sums, followed with an assorted dim sum afternoon-tea served at the contemporary Chinese restaurant Social Place.

2:50pm: Assemble at Social Place (Central)
3:00pm: Dim Sum Making of Red Bean Piggy Bun and Shrimp & Vegetable Rabbit Dumpling
4:30pm: Dim Sum Afternoon Tea and Chit-Chat
*5:15pm: Distribution of "Volunteer Certificates" and Souvenirs to Participating Children
5:30pm: Programme Ends

To encourage children's contribution, each child participant will be awarded with a "Volunteer Certificate" issued by HKGCC after participating in the programme.

About Hong Kong Student Aid Society

It is a Not-for-profit organization which has provided foster care services since 2004. At present, it provides a full spectrum of residential child care services including Small Group Homes, for children devoid of proper family care due to various reasons including illnesses, death, imprisonment and marriage crisis of parents. The foster care service is provided until the children are able to resume normal family lives, or are arranged with other long-term care services.

Let's spend some quality time with your children in a meaningful way! See you there!
