A seminar co-organised by HKGCC on the Modern Service Industry will be held in Longgang, Shenzhen on July 18.

The event aims to promote the development of the Greater Bay Area, and to deepen cooperation between Hong Kong and Shenzhen in sectors including industrial design, technology, professional services and manufacturing. The seminar will also discuss how Hong Kong and Shenzhen services companies can work together to pursue opportunities in Belt and Road countries.

The seminar will invite leaders from the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Longgang Government, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Longgang, and representative from different chambers, associations and businesses in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

The event will include corporate visits and a roundtable forum on the theme of "Take advantage of the modern service industry in Shenzhen and Hong Kong to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry in Longgang."
