What's On

Event Cancelled

Hong Kong adopts the territorial principle of taxation, which means that only profits sourced within Hong Kong and subject to taxation. However, recent tax changes, including the codification of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and enactment of Transfer Pricing (TP) law in Hong Kong, have led to increased scrutiny by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) on offshore income claims. It is crucial for taxpayers to remain vigilant regarding the potential impact of these developments on their offshore claims.

This seminar aims to provide valuable insights by addressing the followings:

-   the latest approaches adopted by the IRD in assessing offshore income;
-   how to handle the IRD's enquiries on offshore claims tactfully and precaution measures to avoid potential tax disputes;
-   case sharing.

Join us as the speakers share their expertise and offer practical guidance on navigating the evolving landscape of offshore claims in Hong Kong's tightening tax environment.
