Visiting the first-of-a-kind EcoBricks factory in Hong Kong provides a glimpse into an innovative circular solution tackling the global plastic waste crisis. EcoBricks transforms unwanted plastic waste into high-grade and fully-certified concrete products. Their eco-friendly concrete bricks are just as strong as traditional ones but have a much lower carbon footprint and divert plastic waste from Hong Kong's landfills and natural environment. This local, grassroots approach is particularly relevant for Hong Kong, a densely populated city struggling with plastic pollution. The EcoBricks vision aims to transition society towards a circular economy, where waste is eliminated through reuse and recycling.

Owing to limited places, registration will be on first come, first served basis. A maximum of two representatives from each company can register for the event. Additional space is subject to availability and the Chamber reserves the right to reject applications.

A former investment banker turned impact entrepreneur, Shervin has dedicated himself to developing a financially viable and scalable solution to the global plastic waste crisis and reducing the environmental damage and carbon footprint of the construction industry.

He launched EcoBricks in Hong Kong as a 100% circular economy solution to waste plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. By turning waste that is deemed to be worthless into high quality building materials, his vision is to demonstrate that the dividing line between trash and a valuable commodity is simply innovation.

- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- The registration fee is non-refundable for this event.
