The Netherlands and Hong Kong share many similarities. Both are open economies that depend heavily on foreign trade and investment. They also serve as gateways to their respective regions. Both Hong Kong and The Netherlands' operate some of the world's busiest and most efficient sea & air ports. Not least, their business-friendly regulations and strategic locations make these economies very attractive to businesses from around the world.

To learn more about The Netherlands, the Chamber is organizing an exclusive visit to the Residence of Consul General of the Netherlands to meet with Consul General Annemieke Ruigrok. During the visit, members will have a tour of the residence and exchange views with Consul General Ruigrok to learn firsthand about business and investment opportunities in the Netherlands.

The tentative programme is as follows:

08:30 Coach departs from Admiralty
09:00 Arrive at Consul General's Residence
09:05 Welcome remarks
09:10 Netherlands Consulate Reception for HKGCC
10:55 Board coach and depart for Admiralty
11:30 Arrive back in Admiralty

The visit is exclusively for Chamber members only. Due to limited space, a maximum of two representatives from each member company may attend. Additional places will be subject to availability. The Chamber reserves the right to decline any application.

Notes - Bookings will only be confirmed with full payment, on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Substitution is allowed for corporate members only with advanced notice while walk-ins will normally not be accepted.
- Please note that the Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event without explanation. In any such instance, the event fee will be returned in full.
- There will be no refund for attendees cancelling or not showing up for the event unless the cancellation request is made in writing at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Starting 1 January 2017, all off-line bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for Chamber events will be charged a $50 handling fee per person. Make the switch to online today by installing our app or registering via our website to save the environment and save money.
- Priorities are given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any bookings shall be at the sole discretion of the Chamber.
