行政長官林鄭月娥昨日表示，過去一年香港經歷過的困難讓所有人反思：「香港承受不起亂局」。

Hong Kong’s embattled government has refused to change its stance or be intimidated by activists’ threats to launch a strike against Beijing’s push to impose a national security law on the city.

財政司司長陳茂波接受《彭博》專訪時表示，香港國安立法對香港是好事，其他金融中心亦有國安法，不會影響普通營商人士。

特首林鄭月娥今日（2日）早上在行政會議前見記者，對於美國總統特朗普宣布將取消給予香港的特殊待遇，她稱這是損人不利己的行為，美國一直在香港獲得實實在在的利益，強調對香港實施制裁只會損害美方利益。

財政司長陳茂波昨日出席立法會財務委員會會議時表示，近期有傳言香港會被美國取消聯繫匯率，他重申香港聯繫匯率制度不變，該制度是1983年實施，與1992年美國通過香港政策法並無關連。
