This training workshop is a 1-day online Design Thinking Fundamentals certification course. With a combination of live online sessions and group assignments, you will gain practical techniques and tools of Design Thinking (DT). The course consists of 4 sessions, focusing on the different stages of DT: Discover, Define, Design, Deliver.

 • Business professionals who want to stretch their creative problem-solving skills

Outline:
1) Discovering market needs
    (Tools: Stakeholder Map and Design Research)
2) Defining the root-case of problems
    (Tools: Personas and Customer Journey Map)
3) Developing business opportunities
    (Tools: Ideation and Idea Priority Map)
4) Delivering user experience
    (Tools: Rapid Prototyping, Service Scenarios, and Concept Pitch)

Notes:
 • All participants must use a notebook or desktop computer with connection to the Internet, microphone, webcam and voice speakers or headphones to participate in the online course.
 • An international certificate from DesignThinkers Academy will be awarded to the participant who has completed the 1-day training programme; including but not limited to the following requirements throughout the training:
 o Show up in front of the camera
 o Participate in all the activities assigned by Trainers
 o Absent unavoidably in front of a camera is accepted, but not for more than ONE aggregate hour throughout the course.
• No refund or cancellation would be accepted for this certification course, upon receipt of the licensed course book.

David Chung specialises in the area of business transformation and Design Thinking. He has more than 20 years of experience in consulting and training across different sectors, including financial services, travel, retail, beauty and cosmetics, hospitality and public services.

He has managed over 30 business transformation projects (from large-scale local-based to regional-based projects) in Hong Kong, China, and Asia, and over 350 training classes of Design Thinking and business innovation.

Moreover, he has published 3 first-of-its-kind publications about Design Thinking applications for Hong Kong enterprises on renowned international management journals and textbooks.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund or cancellation would be accepted for this certification course, upon receipt of the licensed course book. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.
- A $50 handling fee per person will be charged for all offline bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for all Chamber events. Go online today by downloading our app or registering on the HKGCC website to save the environment and money.
- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
- Participants agree to indemnify the Chamber and the hosting party all liabilities for property damage, physical injury or death in relation to this event. Participants are advised to take their own insurance against all risks.
