How can small businesses find opportunities amid challenging times? With the current coronavirus outbreak -- against the backdrop of U.S.-China trade disputes and domestic social unrest -- the local business community is facing unprecedented pressure.
To gain some insights into dealing with such challenges, the Hong Kong Coalition of Service Industries has invited Dr Matthew Man, President and CEO of Megasoft Ltd, to share his inspirational entrepreneurial experience in a webinar on 8 April.
In particular, he will discuss how to explore business opportunities in the high-tech industry even when no public support is available, and how to overcome hurdles.
Dr. Man is an entrepreneur, inventor and technology advisor with over 30 years' experience in the high-tech industry. He has received several personal awards, such as the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2018 and the Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst & Young in 2015.
Throughout his career, he has led his teams to pioneer a series of revolutionary IoT solutions. These have won several awards, including the Gold Award at the Best Smart Hong Kong Awards (IOT) in 2017, the Grand Award at the Hong Kong Awards for Industries in 2014, and the Gold Medal from International Inventions Geneva in 2014.
In this webinar, he will share with participants how to:
⮚ Create one's own "Blue Ocean" by constant innovations
⮚ Build a unique business model
⮚ Business sustainability by the "Depth of Technology" and the "Breadth of Application"
⮚ Create a new ecosystem, not a product
⮚ Local innovation with a global business mindset
