Businesses with an established online store with a designated payment account can participate in the Government's voucher scheme. But how can businesses ensure that they are ready to accept consumers spending such E-Vouchers?
The Chamber is delighted to have representatives from the operators - Alipay, Octopus, Tap&Go and WeChat Pay, to explain their existing services as well as how businesses can generate more income from the e-vouchers at a webinar on 25 May.
Eligible Hong Kong residents will each receive Electronic Consumption Vouchers with a total value of HK$5,000 this summer. The vouchers will promote local spending which should help businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic, particularly retailers, F&B operators and SMEs.
"Get Ready for the Consumption Vouchers" is a new series from the Chamber's SME Committee and Retail & Tourism Committee to help members prepare for the scheme. At the next event in the series, The Formula for E-commerce Success, co-organized by the SME Committee ,Retail & Tourism Committee and GS1 Hong Kong, on 28 May, industry professionals will share online marketing tips and help you open new sales channels.
