What's On

Newly emerging technologies are helping to transform the logistics industry. Companies can become more competitive through the use of solutions including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), wireless pick-to-light and robotic arms.

For instance, pallet or carton shuttles can be deployed to optimize the use of warehouse space, and robotic appliances can easily perform tasks with less downtime, minimal mistakes and higher productivity.

In addition, Government support is available for SMEs to help them to upgrade their automation and hardware systems.

Join us on 20 October, when Dr Wong Yiu-Man, Principal Consultant at BPS Logistics Technology, will provide insights on the benefits of automating manufacturing operations. He will also share the real-life example of a cold-chain logistics company that has successfully implemented automated systems with IoT sensors, building management systems and big data.
