What's On

In today's volatile economic times, effective cash management is crucial for business survival and growth. Are you truly safeguarding your cash flow? When extending credit, do you thoroughly vet the buyer's financial strength and payment history? Even long-standing customers may be facing challenges, putting their businesses at risk.

The threat of trade fraud is also on the rise, with a recent PwC survey revealing 51% of organizations experienced fraud in the past two years – the highest level in two decades. Proactive cash management is no longer an option; it is a necessity to protect your profitability and the company's future. Implement robust measures to minimize risks and ensure timely payments or face severe consequences.

In this seminar, the speakers will provide insights into how companies can effectively detect trade fraud and default payment signals in daily operations and provide various case studies on trade fraud. Various types of credit management tools to avoid non-payment will also be introduced.

Outline:
• Overview of global trade risks in 2024
• Common trade fraud and default payment signals
• Case studies of trade fraud in international trade
• Tips on verifying buyers and monitoring payment
• Actions to take against defaulting buyer/non-payment
• Use of different credit management tools to protect receivables

Who should attend:
Directors, financial controllers, risk management officers, and responsible officers
