French gastronomy is celebrated around the world, not least for its mouthwatering selection of cheese and wine. French cheese offers a stunning array of tastes and textures, from the sharpest blue to creamy brie, while wine is an essential part of the country's renowned dining tradition.
To understand more about the extensive variety of French cheese and wine, the Europe Committee is organizing a cultural workshop at Monsieur Chatte, a gourmet boutique. Participants will not just learn about these two cornerstones of French culinary tradition, but also how wine and cheese can be paired for the best experience.
The boutique was founded 20 years ago by Jean-Yves and Marie-Christine Chatte. The couple has now retired, but Monsieur Chatte continues to provide Hong Kong people with a wide variety of products from France.
During the Chamber's visit, Quentin Le Brigant, Retail Supervisor and Corporate Manager, and Joe Wong, Boutique Manager, will share their knowledge and expertise. Members will not only learn about the fine art of wine pairing, but will also enjoy having a taste of these authentic French flavours!
