How can businesses incorporate AI and its applications into daily operations

Nester Chik, Founder and CEO of Radari AI Limited, and Alvin Lee, CEO of Armitage Technologies shared their expertise on integrating AI into businesses with the Chamber’s Industry & Technology Committee on 26 March. They explained how AI tools not only streamline work processes but also enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer experience. It was enlightening to learn how AI is redefining our work environments.

The Role of eVTOL and the Low-Altitude Economy in Hong Kong's Urban Mobility

The Smart City Working Group explored opportunities and innovations in the low-altitude economy. The session, which was well attended, was led by Patrick Lee, Convenor of the Chamber’s Smart City Working Group. Experts Sr YC Chan, Samuel Lam, Prof. Wu Chen, and Kenny Lau shared insights on the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure Platform, key initiatives driving development, resilient navigation services for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and advancements in drone delivery technology. Attendees showed strong engagement and enthusiasm, reflecting keen interest in the topic. The Working Group expressed its commitment to fostering further discussions and collaboration as the low-altitude economy continues to evolve.

Visit to the Research Centre for Low Altitude Economy at PolyU

We spent an exciting day at the Research Centre for Low Altitude Economy (RCLAE) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, learning about cutting-edge drone technology and groundbreaking projects from Professor Chih-Yung Wen, Dr. Huang Hailong and Dr. Weisong Wen. Members also saw live drone demonstrations at the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering Lab.
