Celebrating Hong Kong’s Heroes

HKGCC Chairman Agnes Chan officiated at the Good Citizen Award ceremony alongside Commissioner of Police Raymond Siu on 23 February. The Chamber has proudly supported the GCA since its launch in 1973.

The Good Citizen of the Year Award was presented to the brave citizens who helped with the rescue operation during a fire last year.

The ceremony featured a stage performance conveying anti-deception and anti-crime messages.

Congratulations to the 80 remarkable Hong Kong citizens honoured at the Good Citizen Award (GCA) ceremony on 23 February!

Nine people received the Good Citizen of the Year Award (GCYA) for their bravery in helping evacuate residents during a No. 3 alarm fire in Yau Ma Tei in 2024.

Presenting the Good Organization Award, which recognizes companies that have assisted the police in combating crime, Chamber Chairman Agnes Chan commended the innovative strategies used to raise anti-scam awareness. She also emphasized the importance of a secure business environment in maintaining Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre.

The Chamber is proud to have supported the GCA since its launch in 1973, alongside the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Fight Crime Committee (FCC).
