Our tour of the EcoBricks Factory in Yuen Long on 16 September was genuinely eye-opening, allowing us to witness firsthand how the facility turns recycled plastics into concrete bricks that meet regulatory standards. 

Led by Melanie Kwok, Vice Chairman of the Environment and Sustainability Committee, the visit gave us a glimpse into the possibilities of a circular economy, where waste is transformed into value, brick by brick. It’s great to see initiatives that reduce waste and create valuable products. Supporting such projects can pave the way for a more sustainable future.
