ESG reporting is no longer a requirement just for large corporations or listed companies. Investors of all types are requesting ESG reports from a wide range of companies. Yet, preparation of these reports could be an onerous task. In this session, we are going to explore some of the hurdles to effective ESG reporting, what makes a good and relevant ESG report.

Karen Ngai
Senior Manager, ESG, Tricor Hong Kong

Karen Ngai is the senior ESG manager at Tricor Group. She is a sustainability professional in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Tricor, she worked for HSBC, and VTech Telecommunications Limited. With over 10-year experience on ESG and Sustainability, she has experience in sustainability strategic implementation, ESG reporting and communication, and social and environmental project management. Karen firmly believes that sustainable development is the solution for a better future. She is always eager to learn about how to translate the concepts of sustainability into actions.

She holds a Bachelor of Environment Studies (Honours co-op) degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and Master of Arts in Public Policy Management from the City University of Hong Kong, and currently study for the Doctor of Public Administration at the University of Hong Kong.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.

- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
