What's On

What are the available options for resolving business disputes? What works and what doesn't? Conflicts are commonplace in the commercial world and as such companies may find themselves seeking answers to these questions at one point or another during their lifetime of operation. Whilst litigation is often considered the common means for resolving disputes, there are also less confrontational approaches, which when paired with proper legal advice, could effectively address such issues in the event that they arise.

Join us on 19 September when Desmond Yu and Rachel Lo, respectively Partner and Senior Associate at MinterEllison LLP, will detail the key concepts behind conventional dispute resolution methods such as litigation, arbitration and mediation, as well as the practical considerations which businesses should take into account when adopting different methods. They will also explain why lawyers should not be left as the last resort to resolving disputes that arise in the commercial context.
