Healthcare is an inseparable part of human life and useful medical services are always in demand. In a city like Hong Kong, geographic barriers may not be particularly challenging but getting diagnosis and treatment can still be difficult for those who live in remote areas or find travelling problematic.
The pandemic has changed our lives in many ways. Not only are we used to working and meeting virtually, consultations with physicians are conducted virtually to minimise face-to-face contact and infection risks.
What will the future of telemedicine look like especially in a post-pandemic environment? What are its benefits? Is telemedicine the future of healthcare and what are its limitations?
We are pleased to be hosting Ringo Ng, Managing Director of HKT Consumer Group, who will be addressing these issues. He will also be explaining how DrGo, a HKT digital platform providing medical and healthcare services, leverages new technologies to pioneer the delivery of modern health care and treatment.
Ng has been Managing Director of HKT's Consumer Group since 2012. He is responsible for managing HKT's consumer sales organization, leading and delivering its overall consumer sales operations.
Ng has more than 20 years of business management experience in sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, medical devices, industrial products and construction.
