As a result of post-Covid 19 shifts in consumer habits as well as the accelerated pace of digitalisation, the global payment and e-commerce landscape in 2020 has been marked by an unprecedented growth in cashless transactions and a sizable increase of brick-and-mortar businesses expanding into the digital market.
