As we are entering the second year since the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect, it's the most opportune time to discuss the Regulation's far-reaching impacts on non-EU based entities. This seminar aims to bring to focus the impact of GDPR on Hong Kong entities with EU branches, sales offices or e-commerce sites, as they fall within the purview of the Regulation and will need to be compliant with the EU Regulator. This will be highlighted through a business case presentation by a Hong Kong listed company with EU presence on their GDPR transformation, challenges and key success factors. A panel will be hosted by key stakeholders from business, legal, and academia with the objective of raising awareness around data protection regulations and their impacts.
