The Chamber is excited to invite Jan Craps, a successful leader in the brewing industry to join our “Dialogue with the General Committee Series”.

Jan serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chair of Budweiser Brewing Company APAC Limited, which is a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev and has been publicly listed in Hong Kong since 2019. Bud APAC is the largest beer company in Asia Pacific, with over 24,000 colleagues and 47 breweries.

Over the last 20 years, Jan has accumulated extensive experience and valuable business insights which have been instrumental in his chairmanship role. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Engineering at KU Brussels, Jan pursued a Master’s Degree at KU Leuven. Prior to his brewing career, Jan worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company. Since joining Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2002, he has held various marketing, sales, and logistics positions in France and Belgium. Before taking on the role of managing the Asia Pacific Zone, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Labatt Breweries of Canada and Carlton & United Breweries, as well as the Zone President of APAC South.

Jan is not only passionate about beer but also dedicated to advancing tertiary education through sharing his expertise with students. In 2018, he served as a board member of Melbourne Business School and is currently a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai. The Chinese government has recognized Jan’s significant contributions to the economic market and education with the "Fujian Honorary Citizenship Award” and "Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award."

Notes	- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis. - Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted. - The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued. - No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher. - A $50 handling fee per person will be charged for all offline bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for all Chamber events.
