Foshan City stands out as a beacon of innovation, having been listed as a “Guangdong Province Strategic Emerging Industrial Base” by the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2014. This designation highlights Foshan as the only core industry base for fuel cells and hydrogen energy technology in the province. The rapid evolution of new energy technologies has cultivated a vibrant industrial ecosystem that positions the city at the forefront of the clean energy revolution.

China has made it clear that hydrogen will be a pivotal element of its future energy landscape. In response, the authorities are actively promoting the hydrogen industry, enhancing policies and standards to support its growth. For Hong Kong enterprises, tapping into these emerging opportunities is essential for fostering innovative productive forces and maintaining a competitive edge in the global market.
