What's On

Hong Kong's beer scene has been booming in recent years. One of the leading local craft brewers is Moonzen – named after the door guardians in Chinese mythology.

Originally from Mexico, founder Laszlo Raphael started brewing beer as a hobby at home, but he turned it into a business in December 2013. From producing batches of just 100 litres, production has grown to more than 20,000 litres per month. Moonzen beer is available in select shops, bars and hotels, as well as in its first taproom Moonkok, which opened last year in Mongkok.

What's the story behind the Moonzen brand? What does the brewing process involve and what ingredients are used to achieve the desired flavor and aroma? Join our exclusive visit to Moonzen to find out more, and to sample a glass or two of its successful formula!

Participation in this visit is exclusively for HKGCC members. Owing to limited places, priority will be given to corporate members, capped at one representative per member company. Additional places will be subject to availability. Participants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and will be required to submit their vaccination QR code after registering. The Chamber and the hosting party reserve the right to reject any applications.
