Cross-border healthcare collaboration between Hong Kong and the Mainland, along with modern medical practices, was the focus of students from Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School during their visit to C+ Health CKJ (Shenzhen) Hospital on 16 April.

Organized by Nitza Brilliance International Limited, the trip kicked off with the hospital’s leadership team introducing its vision, services and technological advancements. A guided tour showcased outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centres and diagnostic facilities, demonstrating how digital tools streamline patient care – from electronic records to advanced imaging and therapy.

A key takeaway was the emphasis on preventive and holistic healthcare, including AI-powered diagnostics, wearable health tech and community wellness programmes. Students also engaged in an interactive Q&A with medical professionals, discussing career pathways, training requirements and the evolving landscape of Greater Bay Area healthcare cooperation.

The visit underscored the importance of innovation and patient-centred care, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for the medical field and career options.
