We had a very insightful Town Hall Forum with Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare in Hong Kong, on 5 July.

He touched on wide range of points, not least the ongoing labour shortage and the results of the new labour importation schemes that the Government has launched. 

Hosted by Chamber Chairman Agnes Chan, the forum provided a perfect platform for members to share their hopes and concerns relating to their company’s manpower challenges. Sun also fielded questions and suggestions from members ranging from ways to encourage silver-haired talent to re-enter the workforce to online job fairs.
