Our joint luncheon with The Singapore Chamber of Commerce (SingCham) on 7 May was a huge success!
Chamber CEO Patrick Yeung and SingCham Vice Chairman Basil Hwang shared their insights into maintaining the delicate balance between development and conservation in sustainable tourism.
Former Chamber Chairman Betty Yuen, Ong Siew Gay, the Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong and Jonathan Lamport, Chairman of the Asia, Africa and Middle East Committee, also shared their thoughts. The afternoon saw many thought-provoking exchanges on environmental conservation, community engagement and the role of government in facilitating sustainable tourism.
Special thanks to Nikki Ng, Chairman of the Retail and Tourism Committee, for sponsoring the event.
