Tourism is one of Hong Kong's pillar industries, but has been hit hard by border closures. While some hotels are offering quarantine services, others have shifted their attention to the local market with staycation packages.

How has the tourism and hospitality sector coped with the changes in the past two years? What are industry players doing to maintain our high standards of service and reputation for innovation? Can Hong Kong retain its crown as a world-class tourism destination?

Join our visit to the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Hotel ICON, the School's teaching and research hotel. SHTM has been repeatedly ranked as one of the top hospitality and tourism schools in the world. It offers a range of education and training programmes that aim to meet the current and future needs of the industry.

This visit will include a presentation by Professor Kaye Chon, Dean of SHTM and a globally renowned hospitality expert, who will introduce SHTM's strategy to nurture talent for the hospitality, MICE and tourism industries.

3:40 pm Welcoming Remarks and Presentation on SHTM by Dean Kaye Chon
