Joseph Lau knows a thing or two about cars. Having worked in the automobile sector for over 25 years, the Managing Director of BMW Concessionaires for Hong Kong and Macao is as passionate about the industry as the day he first started working.
Lau also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Motor Traders’ Association of Hong Kong, and is proud to be fighting in the association’s corner to cultivate a healthy business environment for operators.
He works as a liaison between the Government, other stakeholders and the automobile industry to articulate ideas and concerns. He also brings in advanced technologies suited to the automobile sector and supporting services in Hong Kong.
He is quick to point out the “JOY is BMW” campaign, which focuses on showing how BMW’s cars and its customer-first service mentality naturally adds to owners’ joy of driving. He is also proud of BMW’s brand experiences and culture, such as the BMW i Runners’ Team, which participates in the SCHK Marathon, as well as the Next BMW Designer automobile design competition, which captures the imagination of the BMW community in Hong Kong.
