Hawley & Hazel Asia Investment Company Limited incorporated in Hong Kong in year 2008 and is a member of the Hawley & Hazel Group companies. The company manufactures dentifrice oil and marketing /distribution of oral care products.

Hawley & Hazel was first established in Shanghai, China back in the Mid 1930’s which Hawley & Hazel Chemical Company is the predecessor company of Hawley & Hazel Group. During the 1930’s, Hawley & Hazel Chemical Company began to manufacture and sell toothpaste plus personal care products in China using the “DARKIE” (“黑人”) trademarks which were registered with the Chinese Authorities at that time. By late 1930’s these trademarks became one of the country’s most popular brand.

In the 1950’s, Hawley & Hazel group has established its manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong and Taiwan to serve its customers in Asia region. Also in the 1990’s, Hawley & Hazel group has re-established its new plant equipped with advanced/automatic machineries in China as a GMP site.

Hawley & Hazel Group’s commercial efforts throughout the Asia region were well recognized by the consumers as a key player in the markets. Hawley & Hazel’s toothpaste and toothbrush products, now sold under the “DARLIE” (“黑人”) brand has become one of the best selling brands in Asian region including China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Hong Kong etc.
