In the seventh and final round of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s (HKGCC) “Hong Kong We Can Do It! Lucky Draw,” a total of 1,177 prizes were won, worth over HK$7.78 million. Among the prizes was a Mercedes Benz C-class saloon worth $504,000, as well as $2.06 million worth of MTR Annual Passes, $980,000 worth of Landmark shopping coupons, in addition to two Cathay Pacific Round Trip Business Class Tickets, plus hundreds of other shopping, dining and entertainment coupons, and staycation packages.
Kenneth Bell, Chief Executive Officer, Tradeport Hong Kong Limited, conducted the final lucky draw at noon today to generate the 1,177 winners, who will be sent an SMS message informing them that they have won.
Chamber CEO George Leung said over 6,700 entries were drawn over the seven lucky draws offering a share of $43.7 million in prizes.
“The Chamber is very grateful to our members who have been so generous in supporting this worthy initiative, as well as to the people who got vaccinated to do their part in helping to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Hong Kong,” he said. “There has been a very positive vibe in the Chamber as the daily flow of happy winners coming to pick up their prizes at our office has been a pleasure to see,” he said.
Among the prizes donated by Chamber members were three Mercedes Benz C-class saloons, 500 MTR Annual Passes, hundreds of $10,000 shopping coupons, hundreds of hotel stays, dining coupons, travel and entertainment coupons, as well as health and professional services vouchers. The seven rounds of lucky draws were conducted on: 22 July, 5 August, 19 August, 2 September, 16 September, 23 September and 30 September.
