This year’s China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) buzzed with energy, drawing participants from over 120 countries from 8-11 September to explore exhibitions presented by 51 nations and regions, including Hong Kong.
It was a great opportunity for the Chamber’s delegation to Xiamen, led by our Americas Committee Vice Chairman Susana Muñoz Enríquez, to explore new partnerships and potential opportunities.
This year, the fair featured the United Kingdom as its guest country of honour, with over 100 British companies showcasing their potential across five major industries.
Chamber members also joined over 200 international guests and enterprises at a networking dinner, where Xiamen’s Vice Mayor, Zhuang Rongliang, spoke about CIFIT’s longstanding role as a premier platform for showcasing investment environments and fostering bilateral investment.
A highlight of the trip was a productive meeting with Huang Anjie, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Xiamen, where the two sides discussed potential avenues for collaboration.
