China Committee

Committee members participated in the 2024 Maqin-Hong Kong Cultural and Tourism Product Promotion Conference on 27 December. The event, organized by the Maqin County People’s Government, showcased unique products from the county.

Liu Suyue, Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, visited the Chamber on 9 January. During the meeting with the delegation, General Committee Member and Belt and Road Working Group Convenor Edmond Yue, along with other members, discussed initial collaboration for Hunan’s major economic and trade activities in Hong Kong this year.

Members attended an investment promotion briefing session in Meijiang District, Meizhou, Guangdong Province, on 10 January. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the People's Government of Meijiang District. 

China Committee Chairman Felix Lee represented the Chamber at the 2025 GBA iForum and Dinner on 10 January. The event was organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute in Shenzhen. HKGCC was one of the supporting organizations.
