Hong Kong stands at the forefront of mandatory ESG reporting implementation in Asia, with the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) positioning Hong Kong among the first jurisdictions globally to announce new climate-related reporting requirements based on International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards. Starting from January 1, 2025, all Main Board listed companies must comply with these comprehensive disclosure requirements, making Hong Kong one of the most advanced ESG frameworks in Asia. With 76% of large U.S. companies now identifying climate-related risks in their corporate disclosures globally, sustainability has evolved from a voluntary initiative to a critical business imperative for companies operating in this dynamic financial hub.

Selina Kam, Senior Talent Development Consultant, Sino i Training Centre

Selina was the corporate HR director and a member of the sustainability committee for a listed company with a global presence. She has led sustainability and talent-related projects since 2009. Currently, she is a lecturer for an HKSAR government recognised ESG international certification program and provides sustainability, ESG, and HR-related advice to market practitioners. In June 2025, she has met with the United Nations (UN), World Trade Organization (WTO), International Labour Organization (ILO), UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) officials in Geneva for the updated trends of sustainability and ESG issues.

As a human capital strategist and Distinguished Trainer Awardee, she has trained and coached more than 40,000 leaders and executives from over 133 organizations in the Asia-Pacific region on various topics, including leadership and management, personal and interpersonal effectiveness, and financial and retirement planning.

With her extensive experience, she has been interviewed by SCMP, HK Economic Times, and Oriental Daily on various people development topics. She is a doctoral candidate and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, in addition to a master’s degree, and a bachelor’s degree from Western University in Canada.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.

- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
