What's On

Even when not in a position of authority, successful people know how to influence others. They know what it takes to persuade others to support them and to adopt their ideas. It starts with having the right Mindset - of realising that anyone can be an Influencer - and then appreciating the tools and techniques for achieving this.

This workshop examines how they do it. Participants will test internationally recognised strategies and techniques within the context of their local environment.

Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will know:
• How to accelerate the process of developing trusted relationships
• The power of social influence – and how to use it
• How to respond constructively to resistance and conflict
• How to be more influential back in the workplace

Content
• Principles and Theories
- Delivered in brief presentation by the facilitator.
• Application of Strategy and Process
- Groups will brainstorm an initial case study and present their findings. After discussion and feedback, each group will apply the principles to their own situations.
• Application of Techniques
