Join us for an exclusive talk series featuring Mr. Joseph Law, Managing Director of CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd., for our upcoming “Dialogue with the General Committee Series”. Leading one of the world’s most reliable electricity utilities, Joseph brings a unique perspective to the challenges and development of modern infrastructure and sustainability, required to power Hong Kong – an international metropolis.

Joseph holds overall responsibility for the operations of CLP's regulated business. This vertically integrated utility serves most of Hong Kong's population across Kowloon, the New Territories, and most outlying islands.

Before joining CLP in 2001, Mr. Law built a strong foundation in the banking industry. His extensive experience in the energy sector spans along finance, renewable energy development, fuel procurement, strategic planning, commercial development and operations. He was the Chief Operating Officer of CLP Power from 2021 and the Managing Director – China from 2022 to June 2023.

Beyond his executive role, Joseph is deeply involved in shaping Hong Kong’s future through various committee leadership positions, including Vice Chairman of the Real Estate and Infrastructure Committee, member of the Air Quality Objectives Review Working Group under the HKSAR Environment and Ecology Bureau, Chairman of the Finance Committee and School Council member for Beacon Hill School, and member of the Local Advisory Committee for HKUST's Division of Environment and Sustainability.

Joseph holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of British Columbia. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is also recognized as an Adjunct Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
