"Understanding the Art Ecosystem: Hong Kong and Beyond" will feature a panel discussion with experts exploring the local and international art landscape. Key topics will include the role of art in the context of the wider ecosystem, current market trends impacting different industries, and collaboration opportunities within Hong Kong's well-established infrastructure. A lively Q&A session will allow for deeper engagement.

All participants are invited to join the exclusive Private Art Tour at Hauser & Wirth, an esteemed blue-chip art gallery founded in Zurich in 1992. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of contemporary art and gain insights into the gallery's remarkable collection and exhibitions.

Evelyn Lin, Chairman, Modern and Contemporary Art Asia, Sotheby's

Evelyn Lin has been deeply involved in the Asian art market for over 25 years. She first joined Sotheby's in 1998 and led the Contemporary Asian Art department from 2004 to 2017. She then became deputy chairman at Christie's in 2018 before moving to PACE in October 2024. Lin returns to Sotheby's as chairman of Modern and Contemporary Art, Asia in November 2025.

Throughout her career, Lin has achieved numerous milestones in the Asian auction market. In 2013, she led the auction of Zeng Fanzhi's The Last Supper, which sold for US$23 million, setting a world record for contemporary Asian art at that time. She has also played a significant role in introducing international art movements to the Asian market, bringing the Japanese Gutai movement and the Korean Dansaekhwa movement to Asian auctions. Additionally, she has facilitated the market growth of several artists, including Sanyu, Whanki Kim, Yayoi Kusama, and others, establishing multiple auction records under her curation.

Lishin Tsai, Head of Sales Asia & Senior Director, Hauser and Wirth Hong Kong

Lihsin Tsai is a Senior Director, based in Hong Kong. She joined Hauser & Wirth in 2017 for the gallery’s expansion in Asia, worked on launching Hauser & Wirth Hong Kong in 2018, the gallery's first outpost in Asia. Tsai has worked closely with the artists and estates, bringing the gallery’s global programme to the audiences in the region through high-quality gallery and museum exhibitions, art fairs, and educational programmes. Prior to joining the gallery, Tsai worked alongside collector Qiao Zhibing on the launch of TANK Shanghai and managed the exhibition program at Qiao Space, after she moved from her former role at Modern Media Group.

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Tsai obtained her B.A. degree with double-major in Art History and French at Furman University, South Carolina, U.S.A.. Tsai speaks fluent Mandarin, English and French.

Ida Ng, CEO, Artmove, Helu-Trans Group

Ng is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Artmove at Helu-Trans Group, a logistics company that offers an extensive range of art handling and transport services, as well as art storage facilities - a company she co-founded in 1996. In her current role as CEO, she oversees strategy, directs the group, and implements business plans.

In 2006, she was elected to the Board of the International Convention of Exhibitions and Fine Arts Transport, representing the continents of Asia and Australia, where she was also the longest-serving board member in the board's 60-year history. During her 16 years on the board, she contributed to developing a definitive set of directives for its members to ensure quality and consistency across its art shipping and storage network. In addition, she became the first Asian and female Chairperson, serving from 2023 to 2024.

Ng holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Studio Arts, and a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration in Museum Management from Indiana University Bloomington in the United States.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.

- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
