In a situation where medical assistance is unavailable, the ability to perform first aid could mean the difference between life and death.

Knowledge about basic first aid is crucial for everyone. To promote further awareness, the YEC has invited the Hong Kong Red Cross to give a presentation on fundamental first aid theory and the treatment techniques for common accidents and emergencies.

Members are welcome to bring their children*

  • Principles of first aid
  • Bleeding and wounds
  • Choking
  • Muscle cramp
  • Epilepsy
  • Skeletal injuries
  • Heart disease
  • Shock and fainting
  • Fever
  • Snake bite
  • Heat exhaustion and heatstroke

    *If you require an attendance certificate issued by Red Cross, please register your seat on or before 24 June and choose the price included attendance certificate issued by Red Cross
    *Each participant can bring along one child aged 16 or below for free.

    Notes - Additional HK$55 for an attendance certificate issued by Red Cross, and please register your seat on of before 24 June. The certificate will be provided after the event, will be notified when the certificate is ready.
    - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
    - Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
    - The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
    - No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 3 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
    - A $50 handling fee per person will be charged for all offline bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for all Chamber events. Go online today by downloading our app or registering on the HKGCC website to save the environment and money.
    - Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
