 | Poh Chua, Senior Managing Director & Head of Asia of Aon IP Solutions, Aon Chua is the Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia of Aon IP Solutions. He manages “Phase Zero” of Aon’s Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) solution line and his team pre-screens potential borrowers’ IP assets, business plans, and other relevant information to determine suitability for CPI. Over US$800 million of IP-backed loans have been closed to-date. As a seasoned IP Lawyer with his 30-yr work experience on IP, Chua served as general counsel and chief IP counsel for Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in China and TCL Multimedia in Hong Kong. In those capacities, he managed relationship with key IP partners, provided IP acquisition and utilization strategies, supervised in-house and outside counsel, and negotiated complex agreements, including M&A, licensing, sale and purchase of IP assets, and dispute resolution. Chua is listed in “IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists”. He was a partner at Lee & Hayes, PLLC whose 601West business became Aon Intellectual Property Solutions. |  | Alicia Liu, Executive Director, Head of Greater China Loans, Client Financing & Solutions, Nomura International (Hong Kong) Liu is the Head of Nomura’s Greater China Loan business and led multiple large size syndication structured loans, and provided complex financing solutions of growth capital to new economy clients. Prior to Nomura, she led the structured finance division of CITIC CLSA for over 5 years with special focus on Greater China loan business, and Tiger Group Investments for over 3 years with a focus on transportation and energy investment. Liu started her investment bank career in Citigroup Global Markets (Hong Kong) and has over 13 years of investment banking and financing experience. |  | Edward Sit, Chief Financial Officer, IPification Sit is the Chief Financial Officer of IPification and oversees the company’s financial goals, objectives, and budgets to drive the best strategic direction of the company. After obtaining his master’s degree in Economy, Sit spent over a decade in management roles in structured commodity finance with renowned institutions such as BNP Paribas and ABN AMRO Bank NV, among others. He then joined the HKEX to lead the launch of the commodity futures suite for the local bourse and subsequently took important roles in various initiatives such as the listing regime reform consultation and H-shares full circulation. Sit is a founder of the Family Office Association Hong Kong, and has championed the organization to participate and support startups and fintech companies in Hong Kong in collaboration with InvestHK for the Startmeup Festival in 2021. In 2022, he was awarded Emerging Tech CFO of the Year by Acquisition International in recognition of his achievements. |  | Gordon Yen, Founding Managing Partner, Radiant Tech Ventures Yen is the Founding Managing Partner of Radiant Tech Ventures, a Hong Kong based investment firm licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission for Type 9 (asset management) regulated activity, which manages one of the six venture capital funds the Hong Kong Government is co-investing with. He has over 25 years of financial and management experience in private and listed companies involving cross-border investments, global supply chain, manufacturing and infrastructure businesses. He has been involved in innovation and technology investments since the late 1990s, first through managing corporate and angel venture investments and later through running venture capital fund in transactions involving startups from the Hong Kong, Mainland China, Israel and North America. Prior to establishing Radiant Tech Ventures, Yen co-founded Radiant Venture Capital and built it into one of the most active venture capital firms based in Hong Kong.
