What's On

Start-ups create jobs, incubate businesses and bring innovations to the community. They are one of the most valuable players in the economy.

Joining us in this webinar will be Ms Erica Ma, Co-Founder of CoCoon, one of Hong Kong's earliest and biggest co-working networks. Erica will share with us how she started and co-founded her start-up accelerator to help early stage entrepreneurs who have visions and dreams for the future, as well as what they are doing to help combat the current pandemic.

Going by the motto of 'Hope through transformation, transform through innovation', Erica is on a quest to make Hong Kong a global home for thought leaders, investors, and creators.

Speaker(s) Graduating from Stanford with a B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Psychology, Erica is the Co-founder of CoCoon and a mother of two.

In the early days of her career, Erica worked in Silicon Valley at Macy's and eBay before returning to Hong Kong to start CoCoon. With a vision to build a global home for entrepreneurs, her work at CoCoon has led her to develop an inclusive ecosystem for all, including students, designers, engineers, and investors. In 2019, CoCoon joined the Google for Startups network and started running the 92 Express Program to empower women founders globally to build hardware companies.
