Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is a type of technique and technology that emulates and automates the activity of a human being carrying out a repetitive task within a process (or in some use cases, an entire repetitive process). RPA mimics "screen to screen" or "file-to-screen" work done by the "swivel chair integration point" (people) part of a screen-centric task or process. As the cornerstone of digital transformation, automation can drive cost savings, process efficiency, as well as improved accuracy and quality in day to day operational activities.

Many Finance organizations perceive RPA as a brand-new shining toy; A quick win opportunity to automate transactional, manual and repetitive processes, independent of strategic and transformational initiatives. Leveraging the experience and insights from RPA experts, this session will highlight practical RPA opportunities, as well as pitfalls and lessons learned throughout implementations. Although this session will highlight Finance processes, we urge interested participants from other functions to attend, as the knowledge and learnings are extendable.

Key Content:
1. Overview and Benefits of RPA
2. RPA Opportunities in Finance and Shared Services
3. Pitfall of RPA Implementation
4. RPA Implementation Case Study
