What's On

The accelerating tide of innovation and technology continues to fundamentally change the way we live, work and play. In recent years, the Government has implemented a number of policies and measures to support Hong Kong's efforts to diversify the economy. It highlighted innovation and technology as a major new economic growth driver, and besides allocating funds, it also needs to nurture and attract talent needed to drive these objectives forward.

The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), under the Innovation and Technology Bureau, implements holistic innovation and technology policies and measures. It also provides support for key players to collaborate on research, development and innovation activities. All of these come under the remit of the Innovation and Technology Commission, headed by Annie Choi.

Hong Kong can ill afford to fall behind in the innovation and technology stakes, how can businesses tap into this wave of new opportunities? What are the ITC's priorities? What challenges does the ITC face? Commissioner Annie Choi will address these and other issues during her talk at the Chamber as part of our "Town Hall Forum Series" on 25 March 2019.
