Elizabeth Yu, Head of Airfreight Gateway Operations, DHL Global Forwarding Hong Kong

Elizabeth Yu is a seasoned logistics professional based in Hong Kong with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Since 2023, she has served as the Head of Airfreight Gateway Operations at DHL Global Forwarding in Hong Kong, overseeing critical operations at one of Asia’s busiest gateways.

Elizabeth joined the logistics industry early in her career and has since advanced through various roles, building a strong foundation in operational excellence. Her commitment has enabled her to lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments, delivering top-tier services in airfreight and logistics management.

A passionate advocate for workplace inclusion, Elizabeth actively supports women in the workforce and champions staff engagement initiatives, fostering a collaborative and empowering culture. As a certified program facilitator for managers, she plays a pivotal role in developing leadership talent within the organization.

Alex Cheung, Regional Senior Advisor & Senior Program Manager, First Choice & Strategy, APAC, DHL Global Forwarding Hong Kong

Alex has over two decades of logistics experience across the APAC region, collaborating with diverse teams and cultures. He specializes in process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma, and leads Customer Experience programmes in more than 17 countries, driving initiatives like Customer Satisfaction Surveys and the Net Promoter Approach.

A Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and trainer, Alex delivers improvement training across business units while supporting local continuous improvement teams. He has also served as PMO for digitalization projects, including Robotic Process Automation and virtual assistants.

His achievements have earned him several global and regional awards at DHL. He recently completed a Global MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Queen Mary University of London.

Carrie Hui, Assistant Manager, Customs Brokerage, DHL Global Forwarding Hong Kong

Carrie Hui guides the customs team in customs brokerage, import and export formalities, and permit applications for customers in various industry sectors.

She has extensive frontline experience in various departments, including customer care, quality management and compliance, and project implementation, equipping her with a unique perspective on the industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.

Notes - Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, on a first come first served basis.
- Booking transfer is allowed for corporate members with advanced notice, walk-ins are normally not accepted.
- The Chamber reserves the right to decline any booking or cancel the event. In such case, a full refund of the participation fee will be issued.
- No refund will be made for last minute cancellations or no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the event, and in such cases the refund will be subjected to a 10% administration fee, or HK$100 deduction, whichever is higher.
- Members paying with their BOC HKGCC Visa Card will enjoy a 30% discount on their reservation. The discount is only applicable to the card holder, and does not extend to their guests. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with Chamber Coupons.
- A $50 handling fee per person will be charged for all offline bookings (e.g. fax, e-mail, post) for all Chamber events. Go online today by downloading our app or registering on the HKGCC website to save the environment and money.
- Priority is given to corporate members. The decision to accept or decline any booking shall be at sole discretion of the Chamber.
