What's On

Registration Closed

The origin of goods has become an increasingly important factor affecting tariff rates. It plays a crucial role in supply chain management and production strategies for companies operating overseas as they navigate the evolving tariff policies in the global landscape.

While the United States has suspended certain tariffs globally, China remains subject to substantial tariff policies, with successive waves of escalating duties imposed amid ongoing trade tensions. Following the initial tariff hikes, further increases were triggered by China's reciprocal measures, leading to significantly compounded rates.

Regardless of your industry, this seminar will provide a concise overview of U.S. rules of origin. Experts from Deloitte China will share insights on the following key topics:

- Types of rules of origin
- Core rules for determining origin – “substantial transformation”
- The application of origin for goods exported to the U.S.

Register for this seminar to stay informed about the latest developments and discover how to seize opportunities, mitigate risks, and achieve sustainable growth in the complex and evolving trade environment.
