The development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) aims to link the nine Pearl River Delta cities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to create an integrated economy and world-class business hub.

To ensure that this ambitious vision becomes a reality, the Outline Development Plan was released in February 2019 by the Central Government. The document maps out the development plans for each of the cities in the region as the GBA enters a new phase of economic and social integration.

To gain a better understanding of the business community's views on the future development of the region, HKGCC, together with KPMG China and HSBC, conducted a third annual survey from July to September 2019.

At this roundtable luncheon, Maggie Lee from KPMG China, will share the key findings of the latest survey with members. Claudia Xu from Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and David Harrity from HSBC, will join Maggie in the roundtable to discuss their insights on how Hong Kong businesses can expand successfully into the GBA market.
