| Clifford Chow, Vice President, Lee Hysan Foundation Clifford joined Lee Hysan Foundation (“LHF”) in 2013 and currently serves as Vice President. He oversees the monitoring of LHF’s charitable projects and its internal operations. He is particularly interested in utilizing technology to help organizations work smarter and not harder. To this end he has overseen the implementation of internal online platforms, including a project tracking system and an intranet site for LHF scholars; and takes an active role in driving LHF to leverage innovation and technology within its projects. He holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and has experience in the Consulting and Financial Services industries with Computer Sciences Corporation and Citigroup, respectively. Prior to joining the Foundation, Clifford worked as a Program Manager at Summerbridge Hong Kong, a local NGO providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged secondary school students. | | Dr Ruth A. Shapiro, Co-Founder and Chief Executive, Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society Dr Ruth A Shapiro is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS). CAPS is a research and advisory non-profit organization based in Hong Kong and working throughout Asia. CAPS is committed to producing world-class, evidence-based research to help philanthropists, governments and social delivery organizations maximize the positive impact of private social investment. Dr Shapiro is the primary author of Pragmatic Philanthropy: Asian Charity Explained, published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2018. She is the editor of The Real Problem Solvers, a book about social entrepreneurship in America. She also co-authored the book, Building Energy Efficiency: Why Green Buildings are Key to Asia’s Future. She has published articles in Nikkei Asia, the South China Morning Post, Alliance and Philanthropy Impact and is a regular speaker on issues related to private social investment in Asia. Dr Shapiro founded the Asia Business Council and served as its Executive Director since its inception in 1997 until May 2007. She spent the early part of her professional career in the field of international development. Within this field, she held management positions and built new program areas at the Academy for Educational Development, the Harvard Institute of International Development and Global Outlook. She holds a doctorate from Stanford University and master’s Degrees from Harvard University and George Washington University. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan. | | Vivica Xiong, Chief Executive Officer, Asian Charity Services Vivica is currently the CEO of Asian Charity Services. Previously, she served at the United Board, an international foundation that supports capacity building for higher education institutions in Asia, and she also worked with the Institute of International Education’s offices in Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. Vivica holds a BA in French Studies from Sun Yat-sen University in China and MEd in Comparative and Global Studies in Education and Development from the University of Hong Kong, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. | | Aislinn Malone, Executive Director, Hong Kong Technology Center Lead, Asia Pacific Technology Strategy Lead, JPMorganChase Aislinn heads the Asia-Pacific Technology Strategy and Technology Governance function for JP Morgan in Hong Kong and serves as the lead for the Hong Kong Technology Center. She is a co-sponsor for the APAC Force for Good Program and is a member of the Asia-Pacific Technology Leadership Team and the Hong Kong Corporate Center Leadership Team. Since joining the firm in 2001, her career spans across Asset Wealth Management, Corporate Investment Banking and Global Technology. She has held various roles and taken assignments in Geneva, Switzerland and New York, United States before relocating to Hong Kong in 2013. Prior to J.P. Morgan, she worked in Dublin, Ireland and Zurich, Switzerland as a Management Consultant for KPMG. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law from the University College Limerick, Ireland. | | Henry Cheung, Business Innovation Manager, World Vision Hong Kong Henry is a startup co-founder from Hong Kong Science Park, an awardee of the HK Tech 300 Seed Fund, HKSTP Incubation Funding, and HKU TSSSU Fund, a Bronze Medalist at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition, an IPHATCH Winner, and the 1st runner-up in the 7th Hong Kong University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, among other accolades. As a former Manager of Cyberport Hong Kong, Henry supported startups and entrepreneurs by providing funding, technologies, and other essential resources to foster their business growth, with a particular focus on the digital entertainment and esports industry. He is also the author of “電競解毒: 從電玩中贏得親子關係” published by 萬里機構, and was a featured entrepreneur in "300+ 城大創新社群," published by 香港城市大學出版社. He is a certified corporate trainer with extensive experience in HR and project management, who later transitioned to the esports industry, organizing events in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Shanghai, Japan, Europe, and North America. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer, guest instructor, mentor, and panel judge at universities, secondary schools, corporations, government departments, and non-profit organizations. He is the Vice President of the HKU MSc in E-commerce and Internet Computing Alumni Association and a Certified ESG Planner CEP®. |
