Dongguan, a globally recognized manufacturing hub, has successfully attracted substantial investment and talent. In the first three quarters of last year, the city achieved a GDP growth of 4.5%, reflecting a positive economic development trend. Dongguan is harnessing technological innovation as its primary driving force, accelerating the growth of strategic emerging industries such as information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing and new materials. By establishing innovative platforms like the Songshan Lake Science City and the Binhai Bay New Area, Dongguan has attracted technology giants like Huawei and OPPO, along with numerous high-tech enterprises, thereby creating a modern industrial system centred on technological innovation.

To explore the dynamic developments and collaboration opportunities in Dongguan's high-tech sectors, the China Committee will lead a delegation from Hong Kong's professional services industry to promote deeper cooperation between the cities’ enterprises. This initiative will showcase Hong Kong's strengths in areas such as law, financing, listing, risk management and asset allocation, thereby enhancing competitiveness and fostering economic prosperity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

On 16 May, the China Committee will organize a high-end services delegation to Dongguan for exchanges with local enterprises. All members are cordially invited to participate.
