HKGCC x HKPC 2025 INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY STUDY MISSION TO GERMANY & FRANCE Hannover, Wolfsburg, Cologne, Lille 30 March – 5 April 2025
Explore new frontiers in innovation and technology and capture the latest businesses opportunities by joining this exclusive European Union (EU) study mission from 30 March to 5 April 2025.
The Chamber, in partnership with the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), presents an eye-opening 6-day tour during which businesses will be able to immerse themselves in the latest advancements in innovation and technology in Germany and France as we visit cutting-edge tech showcases, learn the latest trends which fuel business transformation and build collaborative networks with global industry leaders.
In Germany, participants will deep dive into Hannover Messe – the world’s leading industrial trade fair for the fields of industrial automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, energy and more – to connect with industry pioneers, and discover the latest in technological advancements. Part of the learning experience will also involve participating in a design thinking workshop at the prestigious Aachen University.
In France, our tour will be centered in Lille, where we will visit leading innovation and technology parks and explore the vibrant tech ecosystem; network with forward-thinking local business professionals; and uncover exciting opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Interested participants: 1. Please complete the registration form HERE. 2. Send a crossed cheque with payment for participation fee of HKD$36,800 payable to "The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce". The participation fee is non-refundable unless the mission is cancelled by the organizer. 3. We will contact interested participants upon receiving the registration form. 4. Registration quota is 20 pax, available on a first come first served basis
Funding: - Programme development cost for Germany is covered by the New Productive Force Talent Programme funded by the Innovation & Technology Commission - SME Export Marketing Fund: (Confirmed!) This mission is eligible for the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) of the Trade and Industry Department, whereby each successful applicant can receive a reimbursement of up to 50% of the total travelling and accommodation expenditure incurred by an applicant. However, members will need separately apply for the reimbursement themselves upon completion of the event (subject to the final approval of the Trade and Industry Department). Important Remarks: The mission is for HKGCC members and HKPC network companies only, and the participation fee is HK$36,800 per person, inclusive of 5-nights hotel accommodation (including breakfast), Hannover Messe exhibition tickets, local transport, some designated meals, and administrative expenses, but excludes air tickets between Hong Kong & EU as well as any other costs which are not mentioned. Members should make their own flight with their preferred airline for : 1) Hong Kong to Hannover, Germany and 2) France to Hong Kong, after receiving confirmation of their participation (please refer to the Registration Form for details of the registration procedure).
