Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) was founded in 2006 with funding from the Innovation and Technology Fund of the HKSAR Government. The Centre's mission is to foster the development of core competencies in logistics and supply chain related technologies and to facilitate the adoption of these technologies by industry in order to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

The Chamber is organizing a visit to LSCM's office in Hong Kong Science Park to learn about the latest developed and commercialised technologies that cater to the logistics sector. During the visit, members will be able to explore and experience the latest technology and innovations developed by LSCM such as the Smart Lifter, Label Affixing System, Follow-Me Robots, Heavy Duty Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV) and the Virtual Reality (VR) System for strategic operation trainings, etc.

The tentative programme is as follows:
• 14:15 Coach departs from Admiralty
• 15:00 Arrive at LSCM's Hong Kong Science Park office
• 15:10 Introduction of LSCM and its technologies
• 15:45 Guided tour
• 16:15 Q&A Session
• 16:30 End of visit. Coach departs for Admiralty
