What's On

The great outdoors in Hong Kong is becoming a new attraction for the local tourism sector. To experience Hong Kong Green Tourism with trendy ideas and latest technologies, the Chamber's Retail & Tourism Committee, supported by L'hotel Island South and Protrek, is organising an exclusive tour on 30 March for members.

The tour will be led by Mr Whelan Leung, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Protrek. Whelan is also the first Hong Kong certified Leave No Trace (LNT) Master Educator by The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, USA. In addition to appreciate the amazing natural scenery, he will tell members the historical stories happened along the hiking trail, and explain to them the concept of LNT and how to use modern technologies to plan their outdoor tours in the future.

After the tour, members will enjoy the Geolicious lunch at L'Hotel Island South, which has an innovative geopark-theme menu. The hotel is the first of two "geopark hotels" in the city, which support UNESCO's Global Geoparks movement to promote the conversation of nature and cultural heritages.
