Visit to Hong Kong Coca-Cola Museum
Retail & Tourism Committee members visited the Hong Kong Coca-Cola Museum on 5 December. The tour, led by Vice Chairman Bella Chhoa, included a look at the brand's history, including the debut of Coca-Cola Original in South Africa in 1928. They also learned about Swire Coca-Cola's significant role in bottling and its global influence through acquisitions like Hong Kong Bottlers Federal Inc.
Beyond beverages, Coca-Cola has ventured into coolers and vending machines. Their environmental initiatives include the introduction of 100% rPET bottles in Hong Kong and cutting-edge laser technology for label-less bottles, highlighting their commitment to a circular economy.
